As usual, there are two dance floors, one with yo-yo and one with not-so-much yo-yo style!
Plus a smaller and less crowded room with plenty of sofas and playing mostly ambient-trance.

There is still a discount for women / foreigners, although it increases the entrance to ¥2000/2D, up  from the previous ¥1000/2D.

Drinks are still like apple-juice :)
Though, there is plenty of cuties and a good Japanese/gaijin share!

Club Amrax (in Shibuya) is having an interesting event this Friday.

The violinist Chieko Kinbara will be a special guest and judging from this video it should be quite some fun 8)

It turned out to be pretty good event !

911 in Roppongi however was packed as usual, possibly too much. No news there.

Saturday night Air in Shibuya/Daikanyama was fairly packed. Nice mixes and also, got a chance to check out the renewal at the bottom floor. Basically there are now two entrances to the main floor, making it easy to get right by the DJ booth without having to walk all the way.

And that’s about it.

I don’t usually make reports of my own parties but this is an exception due to the fantastic result achieved.

First of all, I wanted to thank this website for the huge support.

We worked very hard for this one and 2 of our 5 DJs were at their first live performance (Hiroki and Achille of KnightZone).

Anyway, party had more than 80 attendees and I had a lot of fun spinning at Tangerine.

Somehow I was (very positively) surprised about the fact that many trance lovers were there: this happened to be a little unexpected as we scheduled 4 house / electro DJs
including veteran Aussie DJ James Carstensen.

Many guest were feeling kind of bored about the housy sound but fortunately things changed when Achille of KnightZone dropped Wippenderg’s – Chakalaka, followed up by Rank 1′s “L.E.D. There Be Light (Wippenberg Remix)”, Audible’s “White Mouse” and Ferry Corsten’s
“L.E.F”.

I started my set around 3:15 instead of the scheduled 3:30, again, due to the
miracolous presence of many trancers in the house.

The funny thing is during my set, a gentleman wearing a black hat, eyeglasses and a
black t-shirt showed me his cel phone 3 times (in different moments of my set): the
first time I could see “Sunlonger”, the second one “Oceanlab” and the third time “John
O’Callaghan”.

Now these small things really make me happy! A special thank to all organizers and my
friends for the huge support.

Follows my tracklist, I don’t have an mp3 sampler for all of ‘em so those without it
are not listed. I’ve pick up some fresh tunes during my first half of the set then
focus on trance classics in the second one.

Next month I have in schedule a beach party on 8/15 and we’ll repeat the Confidential
event on 8/22 (which will also be my birthday bash). We will change a few things but we
hope to repeat and improve all the good things we’ve done so far.
